On Day 20, JoJo was evicted by a vote of 5 to 1, only receiving the vote of Shane. The HouseGuests shot balls into a slotted end of an ice rink that had scores for each slot. Host Julie Chen then revealed to the viewers they could vote on whether or not the mentors should be allowed to enter the game.
Their goal was to do as many exercises of a certain type. The coach who would do the least would be eliminated. When they were eliminated they had the chance to open a locker and possibly win something. Janelle won the Coaches Competition and saved Wil.
Later that day, Shane nominated Ashley and Joe for eviction. On Day 22, all had competed in The Juggler Veto Competition, where each HouseGuest had to roll back and forth two balls at the same time on two different ramps. If even one of the balls would fall, that person would be out.
Shane won the Power of Veto for the third week in a row. Before the live eviction took place on Day 27, Julie Chen announced that America has chosen to give the coaches the opportunity to play the game and stop coaching.
If the coaches voted to become players, the eviction would be canceled and everyone would play in the HoH, including Shane. However, if the coaches chose to keep the game the same, the eviction would continue, but one evicted HouseGuest would return the following week. Julie Chen also announced that only one vote was required to reset the entire game. One by one, the coaches were called into the Diary Room whether to hit the "Reset Button" or not.
Britney, Dan, and Janelle chose to hit the button, while Mike Boogie did not. With the vote of 3—1, the coaches were reverted to HouseGuest status and Joe and Frank were spared eviction. If they fell from the plank, they would be eliminated. On Day 28, Danielle nominated Frank and Wil for eviction. Later, Boogie made a huge pitch to Danielle by using the veto and backdoor his long-time rival Janelle.
So Dan made an offer to her, if Frank gets vetoed, then Joe goes up. But when Janelle refused to answer, Dan knew that the possibility of all 4 coaches working together has blown up and he has no choice but to accept Boogie's offer on backdooring Janelle. On Day 31, Danielle went through with the plan and used the Power of Veto on Wil and put up Janelle as a replacement nominee. On Day 34, Janelle was evicted by an 8 to 1 vote with Joe as her only vote and became the first returning HouseGuest to leave the show and also marking the first time Janelle has not reached the final three.
Frank played in her spot. On Day 35, Frank nominated Joe and Wil for eviction. But when Boogie heard about this from Frank, he said to Frank, "If you put up Dan, then it's 8 versus 2 and it's game over for us. On Day 41, Wil was evicted by a 6 to 2 vote. The first HouseGuest to fill up the HoH jug with liquid and release the cork would win.
There were two other jugs as well. But Ian went on to warn them about Boogie and Frank and they cannot be trusted anymore. After the nomination ceremony, Boogie and Frank were lashing at Dan believing he was the mastermind behind their nominations.
But unbeknownst to them, their ally Ian was the "wolf in sheep's clothing. Frank then used the Veto to save himself from nominations and Shane chose to nominate Jenn as the replacement. For the first of the two evictions, Mike Boogie was quickly evicted by a vote of 5—2. Frank then won his third straight Power of Veto of the season in "Somewhere Over The Veto" and took himself off the block. Ian named Joe as the replacement nominee. At the end of the second eviction, Ashley was evicted by a vote of 5—1 and became the first member of the jury.
Frank decided to choose Dan. On Day 49, Frank was given an option to open Pandora's Box. Ian got the ball and won the veto, but in doing so he sacrificed his chance to play in the week's POV competition.
Later that day, Frank chose to nominate Dan and Danielle for eviction. On Day 50, the HouseGuests with the exception of host Ian, who had to sit out since he already had the Golden Ball of Veto, and Joe, who wasn't chosen played in the Power of Veto competition Draw Something, which was made after the app of the same name. Jenn won her first competition of the summer after Frank was disqualified from the competition for whispering an answer to Britney during her turn.
On Day 51, in one of the greatest game moves in "Big Brother" history, Dan came up with a master plan to get himself off the block by hosting his own "funeral" after having 24 hours of solitary confinement to think on how he was going to get out of this mess. First, he gathered everyone in the living room and paid compliments to his fellow houseguests.
He thanked Joe for teaching him how to be a good husband, called Shane the "real" Captain America, and told Jenn that she was the first lesbian he'd ever met and that he appreciated how much she has touched his heart. He bonded with Britney over their status as newlyweds praised Ian for making the experience of being in the Big Brother house more fun. To Frank, Dan said that he wanted to apologize one-on-one after the funeral about some things he had said.
However, for Danielle, he said that he thought that she had similar qualities to Dan's closest friend and ally Memphis Garrett from Big Brother 10, but he found out that he was wrong. He said to her that "You'll never earn my trust back, you know what you did, and in this game, you are dead to me. They manage to strike a final two deal and proposed a new alliance with Jenn and Danielle. Following this, he did some damage control to Danielle about the "funeral" and said that it was all an act and he used her emotions just to get them further in the game.
Then, he said that he wanted to work with Frank and Jenn along with her. The coaches must transfer all of their cash from one side of the balance beam to the top of the pedestal on the other side. They may only take one stack of cash at a time. If their cash hits the ground, they are out of the game. If they touch the ground, they are also out of the game. The first coach to transfer all of their cash and then come back and hit the buzzer will win the competition. The have-not menu for the week is pork rinds and pudding.
After Willie made contact with Joe, the producers instructed him to go to the back bedroom and told Joe to not follow him. Shortly thereafter, Willie was called to the diary room. Producer Allison Grodner then asked the rest of the houseguests to gather in the living room. She said that violence is not tolerated in the Big Brother house, so Willie has been removed from the game.
Hidden in the bowls of guacamole, salsa, cheese and beans are menu items. On go, the houseguests must build a menu that exactly matches the master menu on the other side of the yard. Once the houseguests think that they have all of the menu items in the correct order, they must close their menu and ring the dinner bell to lock in their time.
The person who gets the most menu items right in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto. Ashley rang in sixth and got 13 of 16 menu items correct. Wil rang in fifth last and got 16 of 16 menu items correct. Frank rang in fourth and got 16 of 16 menu items correct. JoJo rang in third and got 16 of 16 menu items correct.

When your ball hits the ground, you are eliminated from the competition. The last houseguest standing will win the Power of Veto. With Joe and Frank nominated on eviction night, Julie informed the houseguests that it was time to put all of the theories about the coaches to bed.
She explained that all week America has been voting on whether they would like the coaches to be offered the opportunity to enter the game as players or to have them remain as coaches. Julie revealed that America voted to offer the coaches the opportunity to enter the game as players. Julie then explained that if the coaches entered the game they would be resetting the game right now, with everyone competing as individuals and with neither Frank nor Joe being evicted tonight.
However, if the coaches choose to remain coaches, then some evicted houseguests would have the chance to return to the game next Thursday. Julie told the coaches that they will enter the diary room one at a time, where they will find a reset button. If even one of the coaches hits the button, the game resets and all of the coaches will enter the game as players.
Britney hit the reset button. Boogie did not hit the reset button. Dan hit the reset button. Janelle hit the reset button. As a result of the reset button being pushed, the game has been reset and there will be no eviction tonight.

You will write down and then reveal your answer. If you stay and are closest to the actual answer, you will earn a point.
If you fold, you wont earn a point but you also will not be eliminated. They were so cut-throat last summer it would be unimaginable for anyone else but that golden trio to be the mentors!!! It looks like we have an interesting group of houseguests this season. Jodi looks very promising. However, in no way whatsoever am I happy about the twist.
I was hoping for a season 10 approach, with all new houseguests. As seen with Survivor, bringing people back usually results in them controlling the game…. But if I had to pick I would definitely hope Dan walks back through those doors. It sounds like the same thing food network did this year, they have mentors for a group and since the 4 are playing their own game for their own prize, maybe whoever has the winner wins their part. Just a thought.
What is wrong with getting real hard working people? Why pick people from who their family is? We have a Hantz again just on BB and not Survivor and we have a wrestlers kid. I want more waiters, teachers, housekeepers, farmers, etc. So i wonder how this 4 returning houseguests scenario will play out.
Theyre not competing with the others for the cash, but for their own prize. Now what happens when theres only 1 left out of the 4 returning? That person obviously wins whatever theyre competing for but does that mean that the winner just leaves the game or do they stay or what?
I imagine they stay till the last person on their team is evicted, so if say Dani was a mentor and all other teams are eliminated she would stay till the last day. If there are so many people who audition then why does BB go out and look for people? Jenn said they found her through facebook. Why bother auditioning if they come and find you?
Willie Haynes is obviously known through his brother so that probably made it easier for him to get on the show. And they get something if their team wins. Then the last team will compete against each other for the half mil. I think the Chef Joe ………. I seriously hope they bring back former winners to play again. From the options that would be Dan, Will, Boogie and Danielle even though she was 2nd I want her back.
I would love to see dirty dick back , he was real good at getting into peoples head.. Kara another cutie but looks to be a little ditzy. Danielle is hot and smart and JoJo looks she will be fun to watch. They need money also, especially in these economic times. And the games would be so funny. Maybe throw in a couple of comedians in the mix, even a small person would mix it up somewhat.
Just a thought!!!! I wish they would stop bringing back people from past shows, and just have all new people on the new show!
I am not happy about the fact that some of these people did not audition. They visit many states, now accept them online and I watched 3 interviews so far and 2 of them did not know a thing about Big Brother and did not audition, they were asked by Big Brother. Ok, I get it, its a reality show and Big Brother know who they want and what kind of people but with the amount of prople that try out, I think to be fair it should be people who want to be on the show.
For good reason, many fans call Janelle the "Queen of Big Brother. Dan got to the finale during both seasons, and some viewers thought that he made a case for himself in season 14 to become a two-time BB winner.
Across the board, most fans can agree on how amazing and entertaining Dan is as a Big Brother player. As if he wasn't already an iconic winner of the show, he managed to give us the "Dan's Funeral" scene on BB14 , solidifying his status as a true legend.
Born and raised in the Amazon, he now lives in South Florida.
